Liber AL vel Legis: The Book of the Law, illuminated by Susan Jameson
The Book of the Law, illuminated by Susan Jameson : $444.75 : http://bit.ly/adX1hA
This certainly one of the most impressive editions of The Book of the Law/ Liber Al vel Legis, ever published. The transcribed chapters of the Book of the Law have an elaborate illuminated border drawn on each page by artist Susan E. Jameson, around the text in full colour. Each page has a different illuminated border, with some striking art work, rich in symbolic content, and offering an initiated interpretation of the text. In addition to the illuminated text, there is a facsimile of Crowley’s original manuscript of Liber Al, in red ink, at the rear of the book. Unlike most editions of the Book of the Law, which are quite small, this has been published in a large format, with A4 sized pages, which makes it all the more impressive, with the stunning illuminated artwork, featuring on every single-sided page. This very rare edition of this important grimoire, would make a magnificent addition to any Thelemic or occult library. It is highly sought after, and becoming increasingly hard to find.
